Housekeeping: The week of May 2018
Housekeeping week is upon us.
And, as we do each year, it’s a time to reflect on what’s important and how we can make it more productive for all.
What’s important is that we make the most of the time we have to focus on the work that’s important to us, and we also make sure that we’re taking care of our own household, whether it’s cleaning the basement, keeping our yard tidy, or just keeping our family safe.
What are some things we can do to get back to being more productive this week?
We can do a little bit of everything to make the work of Housekeeping better.
So, what can you do to be more productive?
First, we should remember that the most important things we do in Housekeeping are actually the things that get done.
The most important thing we do every day is keeping our families and our community safe.
So we can’t be lazy.
We can’t take our jobs for granted.
We need to be ready for the things we have the most to offer, because it’s not only our job, it is the job of our families.
It’s our job to help each other through the tough times, and the work is just so rewarding.
The second thing that we can focus on is making sure that our families have the best opportunities to be the best people in the world.
The third thing is getting out and doing something for ourselves.
This week, we’re having a celebration of Housebreaking, the most common housekeeping mistakes people make.
We’re hosting a celebration on Thursday, May 21, at the Capitol to show that even though it’s the end of the year, there are still so many ways to make Housekeeping a better place to work, and that this is a celebration to remind ourselves that, even though we’re done, we can always come back.
